Our tomahawks are hand made in the U.S.A. from 4140 Chromoly steel. They are heat treated and tempered for strength and superior edge retention properties.
The hickory handles are 19 inches long, and fit perfectly to the teardrop eye of the tomahawk head. Our handles are made for us by an Amish craftsman in Pennsylvania from domestic hickory. The handles are finished with walnut stain that we make from locally harvested walnut husks. We then apply a coat of boiled linseed oil to protect them from moisture.
Since each hawk is handmade, they may be slightly different from the picture giving them a uniqueness of a hand made product.

Replacement Hickory Tomahawk Handle

Our replacement handles are unfinished but will be very close to the final size. On our assembled hawks we fit the handles precisely to the individual tomahawk. Therefore these may require some sanding to obtain a perfect fit. You can then add your choice of stain or finish.
